A private company contacted HackControl informing them g that their former software developer had taken possession of a part of the code and then created a similar software product which, he was passing off as his own. The company had signed a contract with the employee prior to this.
The lawyers at HackControl, on the basis of the previously signed confidentiality agreement and the employment contract, were able to protect the customer in a court of law.
During the proceedings, a settlement was reached between both parties, which resulted in the payment of compensation (royalties) for using the code that belonged to the Company.
